Penalties

7.1 Any driver or team infringing or breaking any rules will be dealt with in the following manner:

WARNING FLAG

MSW Ltd attempt to run the race in a friendly and fun manner, and will use the warning flag (Black and white) as a means of controlling the event, but reserve the right to penalise teams more severely should they feel it necessary.

To ensure that the kart which has deemed to have caused the infringment is aware that it is he that is being warned, a board will be placed at the exit of the pit lane, alongside the warning flag, with the race number kart being warned clearly visible on the board.

BLACK FLAGS

For breaking any rule, i.e. deliberate contact, overtaking under yellows, a penalty will be awarded of between,

1 MINUTES - 1ST OFFENCE

2 MINUTES - 2ND OFFENCE

3RD OFFENCE at the discretion of the Clerk of the Course.

Continual offences will mean disqualification and loss of points from the race.

If any kart continues on track after his number has been shown on the black flag board and refuses to enter pit lane, the C of C reserves the right to disqualify the team from the race.

 7.1.1 If a driver has been shown the black flag and has entered the pit lane, no driver changes or re-fuelling can be undertaken whilst the penalty is in progress. A driver must complete at least one more lap and enter the pit lane via the weighbridge before any changes or re-fuelling occurs.

7.2 All protests must be made to the Clerk of the Course in a reasonable manner. The Clerk of the Course will not take any action unless the protest is within 15 minutes of the incident.

7.3 To protest scoring, teams must be in possession of a completed and up to date lap chart, and must have the support of at least one other team.

7.4 Protests on final results must be made in writing, backed by your lap charts, within 15 minutes of the end of the meeting.
